Getting around is part of life in Frankfurt, and so is protecting the environment. That is why Mikis Fahrschule relies on electric cars, green electricity and training that needs almost no paper. And we teach you to drive in a way that saves energy and money later on.
Lessons in an electric car
Our fleet includes electric cars. You learn quietly, without exhaust fumes, and get used to the technology that is becoming more common on Frankfurt's roads.
Green electricity for school and cars
Our driving school runs on green electricity, and we also charge our electric cars with power from renewable sources. There are charging stations right at our location in Frankfurt-Rödelheim.
Digital instead of paper
Online pre-registration, digital contracts and invoices, driving lessons recorded in our driving school software and theory with a learning app. That saves paper and saves you a lot of trips. You decide whether you want to receive everything digitally. If you would rather have something on paper, we print on recycled paper made from 100% waste paper.
Anticipatory, economical driving
Energy saving driving is not a side topic for us. Our instructors show you how to drive calmly and with foresight, whether in an electric car or in a manual car with B197.
FAQs
Questions about our sustainable driving school
Yes. Our fleet includes electric cars, which we charge with green electricity. There are charging stations right at our location in Frankfurt-Rödelheim.
Electric cars do not have a manual gearbox. If you take your test in an electric car, you get Class B78 (automatic). With the code B197 you can still drive manual cars: you need at least 10 lessons in a manual car and a test drive with us, there is no additional exam.
Of course. We use both manual and automatic cars. We are happy to advise you on which option suits you best.
Yes. Anticipatory, energy saving driving is a fixed part of the training and also plays a role in the practical test. Our instructors show you how to drive through Frankfurt calmly, smoothly and with low consumption.
You pre-register online, you receive your contract and invoices digitally, and your driving lessons are recorded in our driving school software. For the theory you study with a learning app. That saves paper and saves you a lot of trips.
